A Date With Gabby

Designer Tom Ford's debut film, A Single Man's trailer caught my attention. The Almodovarish aesthetics is so noticeable. Or maybe its just me. Watch:

Come tomorrow, Jezza and I have a movie date with her:

We'll talk about who she'll wear at the Oscars next year.

And Yessaaah! She will be there too!

Knowing that Glitter wont work anymore, she de-glamorized herself this time and gained positive reviews. The UST Gay, Jezza cannot wait!

Music Sicko

Saan nababagay ang music na itoh:

(Full song at the side bar ----->)

A. Sa isang Fashion Show na si Alek Wek ang Finale.
B. Modern Ballet with Lisa Macuja.
C. National Costume Parade sa isang Gay Pageant.
D. Chasing scene sa ala "City of God" na movie.
E. Dance number sa "So You Think You Can Dance".

Lahat ata pwede anik? I am always inspired with beautiful and odd music. This one enlivens me to masturbate. Walang biro! Tse!

Petty Babbles

Pedro Almodovar's Out photo by Jason Bell reminds me of....

Lady Gaga's Bad Romance Big Eyes

Which apparently leads me to ANTM runner-up Allison!

The future first-openly-gay-black-Oscar-nominated director, Lee Daniels (for Precious) is eyeing to direct Miss Saigon, the Movie.

Please consider her, Direk! Please!

Who Will Win?

Reality TV Competition. My guilty pleasure. Halos patapos na ang karamihan sa kanila. Ang tanong: Sino kaya ang Winnie Madikizela-Mandela? At sino ang Luzviminda Calabarzon?

So she was gone. The shortest among the hobbits. The only black one left. She was asked to pack her weak weapons and leave the arena as soon as their fierce leader says so. She was portrayed as a mixture of Russian and Moroccan, gosh ha, tama na pls! The sarafan dress just drowned her down to the Umpa Lumpa town! I am glad she was out.

The Asian and the Platinum Blonde were asked to leave as well. Now its between Nicole and Laura. Nicole should win. Laura is soo doll.. i mean, dull! If they put Erin instead of her, Nicole should be worried. Did you see her face when Laura was named as her final challenger?

The most boring Project Runway ever. The designs were as lukewarm as the designers themselves. Where are the Santino, the Christian Siriano and the Jay McCarrol personalities? Even Wendy Pepper was better. Chos! OK, Logan was hot, but his designs were fashion grade school, section two. Charot! Plus, Nina and Mr. Kors attendance sheets were filled out with red-inked cross marks. They put Ungaro's disaster kid Lohan instead.

It's an all-female finale. Irina's kaka-irita but she has the edge for the win. Pero teka, Althea is edgy rin raw, but her construction in the last challenge was a disaster. As in chaka khan talagah! Carol Hannah? Manood na lang ako ng Hanna Barbera Cartoons. Tse!

I used to love the Zebra team of the former black Miss America and her partner, the white chocolate guy. But Miss America's beauty queen fury annoys me recently thus, Ill go with the relaxed Father and Son Team of Gary and Matt with gay brothers Sam and Dan plus Flight Time and Big Easy at the Finals. An All-Male Finale please!

I feel sorry for the Poker Faces, Maria and Tiffany, for not able to finish the task in Holland but I was glad (for I was irritated of Meghan's tantrums) that she and her partner, Cheyne were sent home with their decision not to finish the challenge in Dubai. Ang dami-dami sigurong gustong mag-join dito ano, hello? Tse nya!

And the last without 'the but not the least', sino ang nanalo sa tatlong bading na ito? Curious lang po. No comment na at baka sabihing i dont patronize our sariling atin. Pero gosh! Sana di manalo si Manny. Ooops! No comment na nga eh! Baduy!... Aaaay! Tama na! Chooooos!

Number 50 is The Passion of the Christ tied with The Anti-Christ. Our very own Magnifico (the only Pinoy film included) is #76. Legally Blonde is #100 (with Mama O's persuasiveness).

'Vout you? What's your favorite movie of the Decade?

Constipated Vacation Plan

I still have to decide where to go for my 1 month vacation early next year. The sisters will be coming too. Mama O for sure, and maybe Ekra (if the BF gives permission. Ganon na ba ngayon? Tse!). Jezebel doesn't show interest.

Two weeks, somewhere, and the rest in my beloved Philly Islands. The trip to Thailand and Siem Reap this year was a revelation. I see travel as helpful to the mind and soul. Work and the American life could be stressful. I deserve to relax and revitalize. Even it will cost me bucks.

I haven't finalized anything yet. I am confused. I am constipated. But I have options:

OPTION #1

This is our original plan for next year. To see the Taj Mahal is one of Mama O's dream. The whole of India would be overwhelming, so we thought the Northern part would just be enough. Rajasthan and Delhi plus Agra seem cool. India has a lot of pretty odd colors. Imagine the Photo Opportunities! I would love it there. And a side trip to Nepal as an accessory? Hmmm... Katmandu sounds exotic!!!

It was a deal at first to meet up with fellow bloggers Kawadjan, [G], and Fuchsiaboy in India until the lips of Bangkok decided to back out and the Siem Reap wunderkid copies Chiz Escudero's indecisiveness. India should have been sealed with the Asian Beauties confirmation.

OPTION #2

Ekra is not that excited with India, she suggests Greece. Mama O's Mama Mia's influence collaborates. And my previous fascination with Greek men went over big. We can play Meryl and friends in Mykonos and Santorini and Athens could be ancienting! The now traditional side-trip would be in Istanbul, Turkey. Ruffa G would be proud.

I had enough of the mosques in Dubai but maybe Turkey will be different. Greece alone is major league. I say game! But yet, would it be cold over there on the first quarter of the year?

OPTION #3

Spain and Morocco was our original plan before Thailand and Siem Reap came up this year. Barcelona is known for their gay nightlife, thus Ekra and Mimi's thrill. Sorry, but I am more into its Architecture like Gaudi's and the Sagrada Familia. Seriously, Chos! Or maybe go down to Ibiza and experience the Cafe Del Mar musical moments and cross the Strait of Gibraltar until we reach the sands of Tangier, Morocco. Exciting, huh?

However, I am not too aroused with cosmopolitan cities as trip options, and Ive seen sands and camels in Dubai before, but I still think this option would be fun with the sisters for sure. If I have to travel alone, I wont choose this.

OPTION #4

I always wanted to go to Brazil. I wasn't able to go with Mama O and Ekra 2 years ago due to schedule conflict. If i decide to go there, I need a travel companion. Jezebel? Hello? The older sisters wont come anymore. They want to see more places as possible. Rio would be more accessible for me and maybe much inexpensive traveling from mainland US. Imagine the beach boys, Jezebel? They may look like you, but who knows, a lost hot Caucasian tourist hunk looking for a Brazilian boy might mistake you for one? Go?

OPTION #5

This came up just last night when driving home with Ekra and Mama O. Sydney would be nice, eh? Just the right timing for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras! How about that? Oxford Street is waiting, girls! Castro is nothing during their night-time Pride Parade!

Though I have experienced the parade and Sydney and its vicinity 10+ years ago, I would still love to come. It has changed a lot for sure. And only if we do some side-trips to The Ayer's Rock, Cairns or Melbourne (right, Jase?) for a change.

OPTION #6

I will definitely go home to the Philippines for two weeks. Boracay included. If the sisters decided not to travel anywhere next year, my only option is to spend the whole month there. I plan to see the Rice Terraces (before it is gone) and the Caramoan Peninsula (before they commercialized it). Maybe with the "BF"? Or Kelly? We'll see!

-----O-----

Wherever it would be, I am so excited! I need a break! Mga bakla! who wants to come? The more the merrier, Go!

Pinoy Music

I've never been excited with Pinoy Music for a very long time na ha. I remember the last time was Barbie's Cradle time pa. Those Hungry Young Poets, I lyk very much. Way before them were Identity Crisis, Yano, Sugar Hiccups, and The Dawn. I was not a fan of Eraserheads at all. I was a Rivermaya bird kasi. Then there was Grace Nono (the same time as when Enya was my favorite artist pa). No Regine for me. No Lea (both Salonga and Navarro). And please, no Charice or Arnel either.

Then, this band came up from Chuvaness' blog. Am not really sure how they call themselves. Is it Us-2, Evil-0? Parang scoreboard something at si Mich Dulce, the fashion designer and Quark Henares, the director pa ang lead? Di ko maiintindihan!

But i so love their first single, The Mighty Heart Attack. Since I am into Architecture in Helsinki, Caribou, New Buffalo, Polyphonic Spree, Anathallo and Sufjan Stevens at this time, Us-2,Evil-0 has the right timing! I am loving them na.

Listen and Watch:

Cute di ba? I cant wait for the album, The Dirty Debutantes! Love, love, love ko sila! And ang hinde sumangayun... Baduy! Chos!

Jezebel Patel is Rainbow Brite

Halloween 2009: Sister Jezza was Rainbow Brite!

At a pop bar in the Castro, Jezza in her halloween costume was approached by a bitchy gay Marilyn Monroe: "Rainbow Brite is supposed to be Blonde!" telling Jezza with an obvious rivalry in his eyes.... (and nose).

Our sister, with her usual Sex on the Beach, replied: "I know! But Brunettes are brighter. So, I am Rainbow Brite-er!" (Sabay roll ng eyes and walk out!)

Clap! Clap! Clap! Rainbow Brite is Fierce! I didnt know that! Tse!
