As much as possible sana, I dont want to tackle religion versus homosexuality sa blog na to. Pero ng nabasa ko to kanina, napa-sad ako bigla.

I am a Born-Again Christian since HS. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God. But for the past years, I havent been to a Fellowship and I havent touched my Bible for a long time. Call me a back-slider. That is maybe who I am now. Even though I still talk(pray) to God from time to time.

I remember, I struggled a lot when I was still active sa Church, for I am a homosexual. (I attended Victory, the one where Piolo Pascual is a brother now). I was told that being a homosexual is not a sin, but the homosexual acts are. I used to ask God, why? And I didnt get any clear answer from Him. Vague pa rin para sa akin. Or am I just acting deaf?

It's very hard, even now. I am still struggling. I really dont know what to do. I cried after reading the above passages. I tried to listen to Him, but I cannot hear anything. Maybe am doomed to suffer hell. Not because I am homosexual, but because I fall in love with other men. And I want to practice that love with them.

Andy and the Faceless Human

I just got back from work and surprised seeing Andy choking the bishop on my bed. He invited me to swim the waters of desire with him, to play In and Out. With his youthful smile, I cannot help but jump and join his trip to cloud nine for my cheeks, both superior and inferior, need their milky emulsion.

The scene has transformed into Edward and Jacob sword-fighting for Bella. Harsh, bombastic and sexy. But all of a sudden, I felt exhaustion. I realized this is not what I am looking for. I been through this and thought that my appreciation didn't focus on the painting itself but on the painter instead. Sick and tired, I pushed Andy away and he fell, descended back deep into his dirty porn pit.

This when I noticed that my blue comforter has turned into crystal-clear waters; my mattress into powdery white sand. I was sitting there alone. I felt the ecstatic emotions Richard had, the moment he found The Beach. And that's without Francoise, Sal or Daffy. I was alone.

Sometimes I want to be by myself. What a relief to be away from the Raul Gonzales' and the Willie Revillames of the world. Alone and enjoying the sights and sounds of the beach. I thought this is the best day to die. Very peaceful. The best day to surrender.

But then, I saw a shadow not mine on my right. I turned and looked back. There he was standing like an angel. A faceless angel. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am your Jericho, your Lawrence, your Jojo. I am also your Mack, your Hassan, your Piolo. I am sorry to let you wait for too long. It is all because I had a hard time finding you".

Love At First Sight

I remember my first year in high school in our English class when our Odette-Khan look-a-like teacher initiated a debate on how real Love At First Sight is.

The class was divided into two. I chose to join the affirmative side even though i have no idea of what Love was at that time, let alone Love at First Sight. My seat-mate, Jonathan was into it, so with my Sheryl Cruz naiveness i went with his vibe.

The group of 12 and 13 year-old's was suddenly transformed into 1980's Vietnam of words. I was like Tweety Bird in Gaza Strip, not understanding why I was there. I tried to preoccupy my mind with how to help raise the Philippine Flag against Japan. Without any hope, and having a bad English tongue, I decided to zip my lips and enjoy the show.

As the battle of ideas continues, unexpectedly, Jonathan's tone of voice mutated from that of Sarah Michelle Gellar's to that of Sarah Michelle Gellar's with 22 microphones. He was no longer Mahatma Gandhi..... he became Miriam Defensor Santiago. And later became even worse, he was Charlize Theron as Aileen Wournos for the kill. It was like witnessing the transformation of Dr Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. From then on, I chose to sit with hygienic Criselda rather than the mutant Jonathan in every English class we had. Chos!

It is sad to know how deep our opinion matters to us. Especially when there is someone who questions it. It is more sad when this someone who questions matters to you a lot. Someone you look up to like you do with Jose Rizal. Mas nakakapikon yun.

I dont believe in Love At First Sight anymore. It's idiocy! And if you disagree, lets just say... we have different points of view! Tse!
