Halfway across the globe, in Johannesburg, another race has started. I hope our very own Miss Philippines makes it. 

This is the first for a very long time that I feel positive for a Pinay candidate. But Julia's judging process sickens me. Now, I doubt Dani's chances of winning. Stella should have sent her to Vietnam. She has this Miss Universe aura. Good Luck to her!

Anyone seen Once yet?

If you are in the mood for a gentle, endearing movie, then Once is for you. It is a real world love story, with real world problems. It's simplicity made me absolutely floored. It is one of the most real movies Ive ever seen.

And the music, even more than the script, tells the story and stays with you long after the movie is over. Thus, Lyka's Song of the Week is from this film. It is called Falling Slowly, this year's Oscar winner for Best Original Song.
