LTE Awards: April 2007 Nominees

Ola! Here we go again. The search for the new Titi Awardee (Best Comment) is on, this time, in a Miss Universe way!

Most of our consequent and nice comments this April come from one entry post (Ano Ba Talagah?) . 'Ano Ba Talagah' asks the question: What does God really think about us Gays? Our commenters came up with varied and interesting answers. Our Top 10 replies automatically become our nominees for the April Titi Award.

The search this month is more of a Miss Universe Q and A portion. Whoever came up with the best reply to this one common question, wins!

We are honored to have one of the controversial Gay Icons of our time to announce the list, Mr. Lestat himself, Tom Cruise! Go ahead, Tom!

Tom Cruise:
"Good Evening, Gays! It's a pleasure for me to annou
nce the nominees for the April Titi Award...

The question our LTE ladies is asking about God and Homosexuality is a tough one. I myself cannot come up with a convincing and valid answer. As a scientologist, I think I leave that to L. Ron Hubbard to respond. Basta, I am NOT gay, kabi-birthday lang anak ko noh! Hello? Thank you!...

Anyway, Here are the nominees in random order........"

Oboids of Oboids Journal

"As for, gay people not having gay sex... that is bull, all crap! If being gay is not wrong (a sin), how can gay sex be wrong (a sin) that doesnt sound logically to me, whoever said that needs to go back to school and study simple logic. Drat!"

Empress Maruja of They Call Me Maruja

"All we need to do is when God asks us what we have done in our lives, we have the courage and the intellect to answer... Sa sobrang expert nating mga bakla sa mga Q & A portions, dapat winner tayo diyan".

IE of The Boy Who Warholed Fiction

"The God i believe in is not prejudiced, never was... Homosexual is but one of the labels and categories we humans are so fond of using and assigning to one another, and i don't think those terms suit His grander perspective, His perception... I believe that He sees us (and each one of us, at that) way pass our sexual orientations, our economic statuses, our religious beliefs, our political inclinations, and all those other boxes we or other people have put ourselves/us in. I believe He sees us the way no brilliant human mind can ever conceive, and/or precisely describe... I believe i need not worry about my sexual orientation, simply because He Himself doesn't".

Kiks of Interesante

"Resistance, like gays, germinates without having to breed. The attack on one is an attack on the whole. With that, are you in it against a phalanx of phalluses (and cunts) who have nothing to lose but their pants?.... Nakakapagod magtago ng magtago, magalit ng patago at magmahal ng tagung tago. Staying all day long inside the closet can keep you panting and gasping for air. Imagine living there your whole life!"

Maui of Dawn's My Space

"God doesn't discriminate, people do... God doesn't condemn, people do. So enough of this hypocritical non-sense from a bunch of neanderthal, chauvinist bigots... They chose to "burn" their souls with social norms and order that they are the ones DEAD while walking... As for us gays, we live our borrowed time like there's no "returning" it back... Mabuhay ang mga Bakla!!!!!!"

Flash Lightbringer of Life's One Hell Of A Trip

"Somehow, from what I understood, all gay men were washed and were already forgiven, as mentioned in the Bible. Basically, it's all there...1Corinthians 6:9-11".

Carlo Magno of I Am Carlo Magno

"It doesnt matter whatever any book, even what the Bible says, nor whatever any person of authority or even Pontius Pilate incarnate tell you... What is important is who you really are, how you accept yourself, loving yourself and do good to other people. We are here in this earth for a purpose... So you are important, you are special, you are meant to be, Dahling!"

Pat of Caulfieldisms

"It's only us humans who worry about something as basic as sexuality. Jesus, God and Satan don't give shit noh".

Bryan Anthony of Bryan Miseducated

"As much as i enjoy this blog and do respect its authors, personally, I think these questions no matter how relevant they are in any pretext they are presented from or to, is politically incorrect and to address them is an act of subjugation to the malice that is its premeditated intent. Mabuhay ang LTE!"

Thysz Estrada of No Access To Prozac

"Basta ako, walang God. Yun lang".

Remember, this is not a Miss Photogenic Award, so vote wisely! Ching!...... I leave you with our very own comment about this matter. This is from my tarush-ever sister, Kelly.

Kelly Carson:

"God created all of us naman di bah! If he will just burn us in hell, then whats the point of this creation? sino ba may sabi na mamamatay tayo sa impyerno? Ang init kaya dun... hello? 'Yoko!"

The Winner will be announced on May 5, Pacific Time. May the best gay, wins! Good luck!
