Tres Bonggas: Nov 2007

Tres Bonggas. LTE's best blogging reads for November.

ChickletBaby
Love Is Like Waiting For The Bus
Posted: Nov 23, 2007

Chicletbaby lykens Love to people at the Bus Stop. If you havent found your true love yet, ...waiting for the bus, is a neat read. Chicklet's reference to Love doesnt rest on relationship alone. It's all about choices in life. Career, a place to live, or anything you make decision on.

"The Bottom line of being loved is like waiting for a bus and whether you want to get on the bus and give the bus a chance depends totally on you...." -ChicletBaby

Love is a ride. Life as well. Get one. May you have a nice trip. Tse!

Black Mamba
Mastering The Art of Falling
Posted: Nov. 10, 2007

A toddler may fall a lot of times to master the art of walking. Our mistakes made in life should not hinder us to continue climbing up the ladder. Falling is a part of living.

Black Mamba's reassurance in Mastering The Art Of Falling simply suggests it's OK having mistakes. Falling is no big deal. Dont let it hinder us in chasing our dreams. Fall twice, thrice, or more. You are not alone. Falling is bound to happen in each one of us. No one is spared. But always remember, it's avoidable.

"Mistakes, once realized, sometimes reward us at the end. Had I not made a huge mistake with my Ex, I probably wouldnt have met my husband. You get the picture". - Black Mamba

Ang sabi nga ni Jon Bon Jovi: "Success is falling nine times and getting up ten." True naman davu?

Flash Lightbringer
I Had To Be....
Posted Nov. 2, 2007

Wish you had to be somebody else? Or think, why somebody else is much better than yourself? Why cant we be contended of who we are?

Life is a race. But it is not important who finishes the race first. But rather it is, if we finish the race or not. Of what we can achieve as who we are. Our goals should not be patterned on others. It is us who measure our own success. No comparison with our neighbors. That's the only way we can finish the race.

"Much of these nonsense I speak - it's all about breaking the barriers of what you can be, and what you can do. I had to be......... Me." - Flash Lightbringer

Be Yourself. Be Bench. Chos!

There's a time for us to let go
There's a time for holding on
A time to speak, a time to listen
There's a time for us to grow

There's a time for laying low down
There's a time for getting high
A time for peace, a time for fighting
A time to live, a time to die

A time to scream, a time for silence
A time for truth against the lie
A time for faith, a time for science
There's a time for us to shine

There's a time for misbelieving
There's a time to understand
A time for hurt, a time for healing
A time to run, and make a stand

This is the time
Of our lives...

Tres Bonggas: Relasyon

Tres Bonggas presents..... Relasyon. LTE's Top Three entries from our blogroll for the month of October.

Mrs J's
Papa
Posted: October 9, 2007

A gay man's relationship to his macho pichu father. Papa is Mrs. J's account on his own father's negative response to his homosexual being. Nakakalungkot. Nakaka-iyak. Pang MMK.

Mrs. J's reaction to this issue is what we like best. Pinagtatawanan ba naman. Galing nya! I dont even know how to react kung naging ama ko ang Papa nya. I am sorry Mrs J..... labs ka namin!

- Exerpt from Mrs J.'s Papa

Goddess'
Umpog Sa Pader
Posted: October 23, 2007

This time Papa na as in Papa na talagah... meaning Jowa, BF, partner. Mahirap bang magmahal?

Umpog reminds us of how to use both mind and heart in dealing with love. Using our heart alone would make us suffer more in the end. Goddess used his whole heart for this relationship and gave him the pain he didnt deserve.

Migs, The Manila Gay Guy's
Anoverz
Posted: October 30, 2007

Open Relationship: What's your stand? Anoverz is Migs own opinion on gay open relationships.

Familiar davu? The male species nga raw is more sexual than the female, kaya normal lang raw na ang lalaki (or lalakwe man) ay mahilig sa more than one partner. But Migs disagrees.

".....Na ang wagas na pag-ibig ay ang nagbibigkis sa dalawang pakpak (hindi tatlo, hindi apat, hindi lima) upang ito’y makalipad? Na ang tunay na pagmamahalan ay bingi sa panaghoy ng laman?" excerpt from Migs' Anoverz

Tres Bonggas: September 2007

This is Tres Bonggas! Mga bonggang entries from the Month of September na napulot sa aming blogroll.

Kiss My Mike's Sarah
(Posted Sept 17, 2007)
Blog: Kiss My Mike

Are you tired of being gay na ba? Would you make patol to the opposite sex na lang? Kiss My Mike's queer thoughts of transforming himself into the Adonis for the (susceptible) women out there is conveyed in his entry, Sarah.

We dont blame him. Most of us, badidays, naman have entertained thoughts of being with women in some stage of our lives. Davu? Especially with women who express their love or lust through verbalization or (most of the time, through) actions sa ating mga pa-girl. It may lead to a conclusion na either Tomb Raiders sila, or tayo na rin kung papatol tayo. Ikaw? Tomb Raider ka ba? Chos!

".... I could date her and possibly be in love emotionally. But I just don’t think my other head will cooperate, if you know what I mean." - from Kiss My Mike's Sarah

Pat's Picking
(Posted Sept 25, 2007)
Blog: Pat's Sessions

Pat's entry, Picking is the most probable outcome we can think of with Kiss My Mike kung papatol sya ke Sarah. Picking is Pat's third person account on the "Big Buking": Ang pagbubuking ng isang GF sa BF nyang bading(?) ... or shall we say Bisexual na lang. It would be hard for both parties in this awkward situation, deva? And it would be even harder (or maybe easier) for the guy if the GF is playing martyr (nievera) being understanding and open with the thought of having a bading BF ... or husband. Gosh! But if she gets angry, sampalin mo na lang at i-retouch ang make-up nya pagkatapos nyang umiyak. Ching!

"For everyone else, it’s as simple as picking between an apple and an orange. But you’re just not much of a picker. You’d rather have the whole farm". - from Pat's Picking

Megan's Baka nga Madali pang Ilantad ang Kabaklaan
(Posted: Sept 4, 2007)
Blog: Chuvahan Tayo!

Coming from a biological murat, this is Megan's thoughts of kabaklaan. Megan, herself, has once revealed having a crush sa isang katulad nating bading. Gwapo, malinis, mabango, at magaling manamit. Coming from a hetero female, her account on us, girlalous, is such as truth as Calvin Klein's perfume. We cannot contest that Megan was Rudolf Nureyev in her previous life. Ang kinalabasan? Isang Babaeng Bading!

"Ang punto, mahirap maging totoo sa yong sarili pag alam mong baka hindi maganda ang maging kahahantungan ng iyong pagiging totoo.... Mahirap lumantad kapag alam mong baka ang tanging bagay na nag-uugnay sa inyong dalawa ay baka mawala pa". - From Megan's Baka nga Madali pang Ilantad ang Kabaklaan.

Congratulations Kiss My Mike, Pat, and Megan! Bongga kayo mga 'Day! Itaas ang kilay!

Tres Bonggas: Aug 2007

Tres Bonggas will be a part of the LTE Awards from now on. This is the top three of the must-read entries from last month's posts collected from our blogroll (see sidebar). Every entries published for the month of August is eligible.

For August 2007, here is the LTE's Tres Bonggas. The first ever. In no particular ordah:

Mandaya Moore-Orlis' Inggit

Others say, going out with young people makes us young at heart. We agree. But it has its own disadvantage too. They make us look old..... Mandaya Moore-Orlis' Inggit recalls his personal experience of how could this be possible. As usual, she made us laugh. Laughing at the truth. The truth about his age. This post may hurt but could be good for the heart... and it can make you a little bit younger.

Ate Sienna's One "Lovely" Monday Morning

One "Lovely" Monday Morning is a story of how a Flasher could ruin your Monday Morning train ride. Or maybe not.... Some of us would have reacted differently depending on how Papable the flasher was. Yeah, I mean the size. When faced with something sexual and unexpected like this flash gordon (assuming he is Papable), we badings (unlike our female certified Ate Sienna) might say "Oh! What A Lovely Morning!" to every person we'll meet at work.

Kiks' Hombres Teribles

Statistics says 1 out of 10 men is gay. What would you do if you are that 1? Kiks experience in Venezuela is not that odd to most of us badings out there. Surrounded by men talking about 'macho' stuff (like girls, especially girls!) would be too awkward for us.

It would have been easier if Kiks was an obvious "sister" but for the Pamhintas like him, it is beyond his depth. Too uncomfortable and embarrassing if they really want you to get involve with the conversation. The solution: Tell them you are a Born-Again Christian. It worked with Piolo and Sam. Chos!

Congratulations to the first ever Tres Bonggas! Tse! Voting for the Titi (Best Comment) for August 2007 is still going on. See two post below to vote. Teynks and Vavoooo!
