Ladies and pa-Gentlemen, the winner of Project Runway-LTE Season 4 is........ Mama O!!!!!!!
Winner: Mama O's "Kahlua On Olives"
The Coffee Liquor with Olives collection intoxicated us. Mama O's brown and green palette thrilled the majority. She garnered 71 points total. Kiks thought its innovative. Its design essence: to protect, cover and yet flatter the wearer. Mrs J saw sophistication and some spelled SEXY in their notes. Mama O's clean tailoring and her alluring aesthetics without doubt made her win this Season's Project Runway - LTE. Congratulations to the Mama!

2nd Place: Jezebel Patel's "Pretty Edgy"
Previous Season's winner, Jezebel Patel's half-pretty half-edgy collection divided voters into halves. Some loved her billowing gowns and some hated it. Some thought they were "whimsical" and others, "gimickry". Her first half structural Edgy looks split off votes too. One says its Lanvin-ish but some thought its undone. Pretty Edgy's divided votes reaped 66 Points placing her Second.

3rd Place: Lyka Bergen's "Melanitis"
Melanitis are Brown Butterflies. And they did not fly high this season. Lyka Bergen's brown butterfly inspiration did not get her somewhere. Fuchsiaboy thought the one-color tone was so "uninspiring". It didn't shine. Some thought its over-designed with the scarf and the ribbons. (Although they were only apparent on two dresses. Tse!). She placed third with 62 Points.

4th Place: Ekra Tan's "Beau Lacque Lacque"
Ekra Tan's "Beau Lacque Lacque" is the most unique collection among the four this Season. However, being unique is always a risk. Her experimental artsy designs assembled only the few. Some thought the collection is "wishy washy", "haphazard" and "scary". She garnered the lowest vote with 51 Points.

LTE's Project Runway Season 4 has a new twist. The Challenge: The four designers (Lyka, Ekra, Jezebel, and Mama O) have to design clothes for each other. In that case, each has to model for her 3 fellow competitors and for her own collection as well.
And to prevent biases (but bias cut on skirts is permitted. Chos!), no mentions of the designer's name is allowed during the voting span. (Designers will be designated only as Designer A to D). Drawing of lots was done for the show's order of presentation. No specific allocations of signature wigs, walk, paraphernalia, and shoes this time. Judging will be focused on the design, per se (Tse!).
All of our designers have worked long and hard to get to this point and we are very excited to see their collections. So,...... Let's start the show!

Jezebel's Love Story harvested a lot of love. Filibustero likes the drama. Ernesto, the elegance. Her day to night designs wowed Empress Maruja and Bituin. Emy Cheeks thought its inventive. The collection as a whole is very easy on the eyes, says James. And the "flowiness"is what Lora Nicolas loves. Jezebel Patel has truly captured the hearts of the Jury with her Love Story. She brings out the flame in the red color, indeed!

Let's Patch Thing Up by Lyka Bergen is second place. Gayzha thought its Yoko Ono draped in Carole Kings. Innovative and not boring. It's not trying to be safe says Fuchsiaboy, and which he thought as Fresh and conceptual. Each piece can be combined with other pieces. The Zen Bitch agrees. He says the collection is consistent in its design philosophy.... Adventurous! Original yelps Bryan Anthony. Hoorah to the Bergen!

Season 2 Winner Ekra Tan's visit to the Serengeti dropped her to number 3 this time but the collection itself was positively memorable. Ekra has Taste says Kawadjan. The Serengeti blew the Bangcock Lips away! "Expensive" is what he can add to inventiveness and craftmanship. Rik32miles nods his head. He thinks its sophisticated and intricate; Its very Fey Summers says Zico. And Gibo... oh Gibo... was gushy about this collection. It reminds him of his visit to the actual Serengeti National Park. Ekra has truly captured the wilds of Serengeti here. Only if the others can relate (cheka!) and....Viva!

Oh My Mama Oh! Her Bubble Gum Pop just popped off. Its like a Joke says Blue; the bubble gum is not that sweet at all says Mel Beckham; "It looks like a geriatric queen's decision that Britney Spears was her style icon after all". Those were words from Fuchsiaboy; Luis Batchoy added "Masakit sya sa mata". Nobody wants a bubble gum nowadays. Mama O fights back: "Ayaw nyo? Mga bad breath kayo! Tse!" Her first piece (right) and her swimsuit (OMG, her swimsuit) made raves though. Bravo for the bukol! says Mrs. J. Bravo!

Congratulations to Jezebel Patel for winning Season 3. This is the closest fight we had so far in Project Runway: LTE. There was no clear winner from the start but Jezebel's Love conquered all. The Mustard Triumphs! Ekra's incorporation of yellow mustard color nylon on everything and anything was agreed to be delicious by the majority. The color pattern, the variety, the origami- styled execution (accdg. to Jay Aureus) and the new hair! Everything went well with the mustard. The collection triumphs! And from now on, it's Mustard on Everything, Pls!
Ekra's innovation and creativity plus her detailed rendition bestowed her the Project Runway Season 2 trophy. The "proportionality and balance", "the vibrance and the fun", and the "originality". With Ekra's design, You can now have anything and whatever, provided you sprinkle it with a little bit of mustard. Ang sabi nga ni Mark Twain: "...try the mustard, a man can't know what turnips are in perfection without mustard".

Second Place:Mama O (40 Points)
Good and Evil shown Opposite Views Mama O's The Devil and Miss Prym dresses got mixed reviews. Paulo Coelho says "People want to change everything and, at the same time, want it all to remain the same".That is what exactly happened to Mama O in Season 2. Her decision for change was a fight between good and evil. Subtle vs Crazy. Like the townspeople of Viscos, her dresses displayed a fight between good and evil. To change or not to change. That is her question.
Craziness was added but Mama O's simplicity signature remains obvious. This is maybe why she got mixed reviews. She got divided votes from the judges. Like Ms Prym, her decision to kill or not to kill for the gold was passed on to the jury's consideration of letting her win. That left her in Second Place.

The Plastic is no good friend with Lace. Laceymaplasticalooza was a concert flop. It was supposed to be a festival of freedom, life, love, and music just like Coachella or TheBurning Man. It didnt deliver because the two main line-up didnt go together, Plastic Electronica and Lace Divas. It was like Hip Hop merged with Rock.
Season 1 Winner Jezebel failed the attempt to win consecutively. Her Laceyma-plasticalooza was considered as an extension of her Geisha Ballerina collection by the majority. Her Bjork opening number made a mark though. But despite all the negative criticisms Ms Patel is still happy with the outcome. She borrowed a line from her bestfriend Bjork: "I am a grateful... grapefruit!"

The Superheroes Who Cant Fly. This is the only Superhero movie that didnt leave a mark. Lyka's Superheroes Wives didnt fly high. Actually, most remained on the ground. Beaten, wounded and doomed by their nemesis. The judges felt the script was okay but the execution was tacky. The tying and knotting made an impression that the movie was a "Pito-pito". It was like Love In The Time Of Cholera. Beautiful book, ugly movie.
"The execution was misunderstood" according to its director. She is not being defensive. She is just making a point. "But it was made for the moviegoers and not for the critics". "It was made for entertainment... just like any Superhero movie is all about". "I love my movie and I'll stand to that". "And just like Queen Hippolyte says, I always tell myself: "Go in peace my daughter, And remember that, in a world of ordinary mortals, you are a Wonder Woman."
