Empress Maruja is finally a Titi Winner! Like Marty in the Oscars, Maruja is one of the most nominated LTE commenters (second only to Bananas) with no win since this award begun. With her 9th nomination, she finally won. Congratulations!

This is her winning comment:
(On a certain girl's case suing her teacher for showing the film, Brokeback Mountain, in their class). "Kahit ano naman yata puwede mong ikaso sa Amerika. Madulas ka lang, kasalanan ng gobyerno. Namatay ang tuta mo sa microwave, kasalanan ng kumpanya".

Maruja garnered tremendous votes from the LTE commenters winning the Queen Nefertiti Award (Voters' Choice Award). Even though she is the third choice of the LTE ladies to win (LTE's Choice Award), all four baklas were happy for her.

"We love Maruja" says Lyka Bergen. "We discovered her blog, They Call Me Maruja: A Colorful Life In Random, months before we started the Las Tres Estrellas Blog. In a way, she influenced us in making our own kagagahan blog chu-chu". Ekra says "I Love her Maruja Radio in her blog. The Empress' choice of electronica beat always fascinates me. Napapasayaw aketch!".... "I tried winning her Bunny Man Hunt Contest but to no avail" says Kelly. Mama O was ecstatic upon learning that the Empress wins Titi. "Her comments make me laugh..... most of the time! Charoooots!"

Empress Maruja has two awards in her name. She also won the Palanca Award for Writing years ago (according to a very reliable source). Congratulations to you Empress Maruja!
